Are you interested in becoming a member of the German Society? We are always looking for new members committed to furthering our objectives and interested in getting involved.

Why join us?

By joining us, you are playing an important role in representing and promoting the German culture, heritage and language in Montreal. Additionally, you have the chance to be part of one of the oldest charitable organizations in Montreal and Canada.

As a member you have the opportunity to participate in our charitable and cultural activities, and help organize these by involved on our committees and working groups. Furthermore, the Society regularly organizes activities for its members, including for example public lectures on current topics, museums tours, etc.

Individual Membership$ 40.00 CAD
Individual Membership (young adults 25 and younger)FREE
Associate Membership (Corporations)$ 95.00 CAD
Associate Membership (Non-Profit Organizations, Charities)$ 50.00 CAD

Individual membership is open to any individual wishing to further the purposes of the Society (see by-laws). There is no minimum age for membership; however, minors under the age of 18 are not eligible to vote at the Annual Members’ Meeting.

Associate membership is open to any legal person wishing to further the purposes of the Society.
